    The Disappointment of a Misrepresented Hotel Experience with Fab Hotels

    Fab Hotels are FraudstersI booked 2 rooms from 31/12/23 till 03/01/24 in Fab Hotels Greenland Classic Bhubaneswar through booking.com for my family. I made an advance payment of 3074/- to get my booking confirmed. Total amount was 8232.84 for 2 rooms for 3 nights. However during checkin on 31/12/23 we found that the hotel was entirely different from what was shown in the pics posted on booking.com. Hotel was under construction, lift wasn’t working and also hotel did not have any kitchen/restaurant as mentioned in the hotel’s description on the site. Rooms were too small, dark and shady which were not at all meant for family stay. Rooms pics were totally opposite of what was shown on booking.com site. We were quite disappointed and asked the receptionist to connect us with property owner to raise our concern, rather we were asked to call the customer service. I cancelled my booking and tried calling the owner which was actually Fab Hotels number. That number was never connected and so i spoke with booking.com and they too denied to help mentioning that property owner has to refund the advance payment.Fab hotels are fraudsters as after filing complain into consumer forum I found indefinite complains from various customers so a strict action should be taken against them.

    Scammed and Stranded

    Hey you all this consultant is totally built up for eating money. First I paid the money before lockdown on february 2020 then lockdown started. I tried to contact them so many times but there was no response also when I asked for the refund my money back due to lockdown they are refusing with several excuses but saying the refund is not possible. I would highly suggest you guys please please do not waste your time and money once you give it to them then just think you have lost your money. Initially they will keep following with you for money application fees and all that and once you paid then you have to follow up with them because once they have their money in their pocket then it is your call. I was been scammed by this consultancy please do not go for this Feel my tears please

    The intention with which their services were hired by my parents were not met as their representative made mistakes in Schengen application forms. My parents had to refill a fresh application form at VFS office which added to the inconvenience.

    Disappointing Experience

    Do not book with this groupDo not book with this group. I booked a trip to Tuscany in 2019 for 2020 and they canceled it due to Covid. Despite in the midst of Italy Covid crisis Luxury airBnb processed the payment anyway and now they refuse to provide a refund. Although they agreed to rebook this year in Sept in lieu of a refund. when I asked for a refund in April they led me on saying it was too early to tell how Covid was going to be even though restrictions were still in place. They refused to refund or postpone and just took my money with no regrets at all.The worst part of it was when I asked airBnb for a resolution and refund it went instead to a third party called Bravo Villas who I did not contract and had no clue who they were. It is a sad day with Airbnb buys out companies and stand behind the airbnb name without any integrity. In fact if you book on VRBO or any other airbnb or who can connect directly with the owner of the villa. No not with Luxury airbnb you have NO contact with the owner and therefore have to rely on Luxury retreats to advocate on your behalf which they are incompetent to do. Very sad when every hotel and VRBO are very much flexible in their bookings. Be aware that Luxury Airbnb and Luxury Retreats DO NOT BOOK. Next time will book through a luxury hotel.

    Unfulfilled Expectations

    Absolutely terrible customer serviceAbsolutely terrible customer service. I would not recommend to anyone. How this company holds the “Luxury” branch of airbnb amazes me. Has stolen thousands of dollars of mine and others. Airbnb is also cowardice in not holding one of its subsidiaries to the same standard and not upholding their own policies. My wife and I booked our honeymoon in Turks and Caicos for April 2020 prior to COVID ever being a thing. In the months leading up to our travel date COVID began locking things down and restricting travel. We were in communication with the company throughout. Once travel was restricted out of the US and into Turks and Caicos the company left us high and dry. Any talks of cancelling they didn’t understand why we couldn’t travel to the country. Multiple email chains and hours of phone calls lead to a year long credit for the property. Fast forward months. Travel was still locked down and the story repeated. Ultimately an indefinite credit was given after hours of argument to allow for more attempts at a refund. Albeit, this whole time their parent company Airbnb had a full refund policy for COVID which did not cover luxury retreats. Four years later I am still fighting for a full refund for roughly $4500. I have been stationed overseas since 2020 and do not see a timeline to travel just for this trip. This company should be ashamed at at the cowardice they have shown. I would never risk the amount of money these homes cost again. Avoid at all cost.

    First of all not a welcome atmosphere.*No housekeeping services*No amenities, only a single bath towel provided for 2 persons till checkout*Dirty room, found used tea cups*No hot water (normal also) * called few times to the reception to sort it*No entertainment in the room, tv service was disconnected.*Electric kettle, tea cups are available but we have to purchase the rest from market to make a tea🤣*Provided 2 small bottles of water on day 1 till the checkoutMain highlight is they have untrained and disrespectful staff even they are not groomed well.Definitely not recommended to anyone.

    The flush was broken, rooms were stinking, no tea or coffee arrangements if you want to have tea there is no provision. You have to pay they will not provide tea sachet or sugar even. Their housekeeping staff will explore your bag. I reached early and saw everything was scattered. Breakfast they will provide like langar and you have to stand in a que with plate. Also you will get cockroaches complementary in the breakfast. I have all the images. If you ask for tea they will give you coffee by their own choice.Not the least they will make you their also. They will not provide anything but they will keep calling you and certify you a thief like you have taken your things from room. Keys were handed over, bills were paid . We’re they sleeping . It’s just pathetic, harassing and I have no words how poor it was.Shame on you guys.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Very unprofessional. We had good experience with them in past. However, recently due to their error in booking ticket there was an issue with rebooking a cancelled flight. Mr. Joshi is uncooperative. No responses for over a month. Now stranded in the US with Mr. Joshi not even responding to emails! BEWARE!

    Not very useful to me. Wanted to charge 50000 for helping get an admission in Germany. How? By giving links in DAAD. They merely give us sample SoP and Lot and merely read ours. Basically we need to do everything and they just tell what we do. Things we can get by a simple Google search or on YT. No thanks I would do it myself and save the 50k.

    I have had an unpleasant experience with this consultancy, I have applied through Mangalore branch office. However I want to tell everyone the brand of service they are endorsing, after so many struggles I have shortlisted a college and applied for a college through this consultancy. Though the Canadian college was open for application this consultancy person was telling me it is still not available for application. The application for September 2022 was opened by December 2021 itself but these kept it delayed at last by the end of Feb 2022 they applied. And I was following regularly and they said there are no updates on the application.Literally, it’s a poor consultancy in terms of providing a quality service. Besides all these, they will ask you to pay 5k as a registration fee and unlike other consultancy, these guys don’t have an application fee waiver.Because of them, I lost valuable one year. It’s disheartening for me not to get a seat in a specific course and all my efforts went in vain.I kindly request not to go through this consultancy. There is much better consultancy than this.

    I made a reservation through my daughter’s agency on September 1st for September 27th- I received notice that rates had dropped but the hotel would not honor the new rate at check-in even though they have a strict cancellation policy on the other end.     First trip back to Mata Rocks since the pandemic…sadly dsappointed!! Stayed 10 years here with the previous owners, knew all the staff by name and they never missed a beat! The current staff may be simply under resourced by the current owners. Bath towels with holes and burn marks, not a hand towel in sight, ants in our bathroom and medications. The cosmetic “improvements” under the new management did not address real issues and in the case of the balcony areas created a hazard with rope railing instead of the private stucco wall railing they replaced. Kudos to the one maintenance staffer who remained from the old staff. He kept the doors and blinds working!

    Beware of False Reviews

    GoAbroad get affiliate kickbacks and…GoAbroad get affiliate kickbacks and they don’t publish bad reviews. I wanted to do a TEFL online course and ITT TEFL and TESOL was a recommended program on GoAbroad. the program has over 600 reviews with all of them writing the program is excellent. I went ahead and paid for the Level 5 course. It was just a few videos and a lot of odt documents that had to be sent to the owner. When I complained to ITT TEFL and TESOL I didn’t receive the product and service I’d purchased, I was kicked off the course without any explanation. I contacted my bank and they got my money back for me. Now I’m reading that ITT International TEFL and TESOL are not properly accredited and GoAbroad know about it but still have the program listed. This is a straight-up scam. Avoid ITT International TEFL and TESOL and don’t believe the reviews on GoAbroad.

Practical guy – will not hesitate to leave you in the middle of nowhere for money – which he did with us! Totally unethical.overcharged by 5x – put us up in the filthiest of hotels. Bad food. Bad manners and foul language. If you want to get insulated, waste your money – hire this agency. False promises and changing stance is characteristic.
