    The Disappointment of a Misrepresented Hotel Experience with Fab Hotels

    Fab Hotels are FraudstersI booked 2 rooms from 31/12/23 till 03/01/24 in Fab Hotels Greenland Classic Bhubaneswar through booking.com for my family. I made an advance payment of 3074/- to get my booking confirmed. Total amount was 8232.84 for 2 rooms for 3 nights. However during checkin on 31/12/23 we found that the hotel was entirely different from what was shown in the pics posted on booking.com. Hotel was under construction, lift wasn’t working and also hotel did not have any kitchen/restaurant as mentioned in the hotel’s description on the site. Rooms were too small, dark and shady which were not at all meant for family stay. Rooms pics were totally opposite of what was shown on booking.com site. We were quite disappointed and asked the receptionist to connect us with property owner to raise our concern, rather we were asked to call the customer service. I cancelled my booking and tried calling the owner which was actually Fab Hotels number. That number was never connected and so i spoke with booking.com and they too denied to help mentioning that property owner has to refund the advance payment.Fab hotels are fraudsters as after filing complain into consumer forum I found indefinite complains from various customers so a strict action should be taken against them.

    Unreasonable Return Policy

    $15 return fee for new items is…$15 return fee for new items is completely unreasonable today. The ordered item didn’t meet my expectations so now I have to pay a fee that isn’t charged anywhere else for new items with tags? Stay away from buying a small item here because they charge $15 to return anything.

    Beware of Hidden Fees

    $15 restocking fee is not a 100% satisfaction guarantee!$15 restocking fee for returns….I guess the 100% return guarantee only goes so far. Will not order anything again from this outfit, will stick to Amazon or others that offer free returns on merch that must be seen to completely decide on a purchase.Disclosed, however missed it when I ordered and returned. Very dissatisfied after talking with them.

    Negative Experience with Liberty Travel's

    Do not use Liberty Travel,and especially Jazmyn Thomas.We booked a vacation to Riu Paradise through Jazmyn,we stayed from the 11th to the 15th of December.We paid for an upgraded room,with a balcony and an Ocean view.We asked for notes to be sent,stipulating a king bed and a suite.Her inattentive actions ruined our first night there.Book your own lodging,you can’t possibly screw it up any worse than Jazmyn did.The Bahamas was niceIn spite of our useless travel agent.If I could give negative stars,I would

    Frustrating Experience

    Worst experience ever!Worst experience ever!! The supposed travel agent was terrible & REFUSED TO HELP,!! Said it was too early to plan trip for next year! Also, REFUSED to send brochures & literature regarding my vacation visit!! Was VERY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL! Do NOT USE Liberty Travel!! They are nothing but scammers!!

    Unsatisfactory Service

    The charges for swiss visa Appointment is 1983 rupee but they charged 2070 for that don’t know why. Means additional to their visa fees.They forgot to give me the application form print out itself. Which I didn’t think, thinking they must have submitted online. IT caused harrasment at the vfs counter.Swiss visa also requires a covering letter from the applicant to the swiss embassy delhi, which kundu Travels never told or gave. Again creating a awkward situation at the vfs counter. This whole process delayed our documents submission for about an hour of no fault of ours.One goes to Travel agent coz they want things getting simplified and smooth . But kundu Travels didn’t do that at all.My recommendation would be to submit your visa documents on your own coz it’s not that difficult than you think.

    Regrettable Decision

    DO NOT GO for STUDENT VISA. The most horrible experience. I had to apply twice because they applied in the wrong category the first time so it was rejected, and even the second time around I faced issues with the visa offices because of this company’s lack of knowledge and experience in student visas. The assistant at the company applied for my visa in the wrong category even after I gave her a CAS statement from the Uni I was accepted in. You can do a better job yourself if you research well, everything is mentioned on the website gov.uk. especially if you have a CAS, everything is mentioned there.My case became a unique one even to the Uni because of how many complications my visa process had to encounter, and they take in 1000s of international students every year. Simply a waste of money to approach them for student visa.

    Frustration and Disrespect

    I would have given them 0 starts if I could. I had gone to inquire about renunciation of Indian citizenship and was called by the boss to the office. We just wanted to know how much they charge and total days it’ll take for the whole process. It was partially our fault as well as we didn’t carry any documents and we were not told about it on the call but he was rude towards us from the start. Had to wait for about an hour to talk to him and then his rude comments really frustrated us more. Never going to use their services again.

    Disorganized and Unprofessional

    Avoid Avoid AvoidThe office is quiet busy and gets business they can’t handle. They treat you like a number. We applied for EUSS Visa for my elderly parents. The communication is extremely poor. They never explain the process or the documentation required clearly. I think this is to maintain autonomy on the process etc. Then they insist on speaking in English to my parents who can barely understand it. Being in Goa, I don’t understand why they can’t speak Konkani.The application was refused for insufficient evidence. I don’t understand why they dint make the requirement clear. They even forgot to return the refused passports and were ready to apply again to make more money. This almost sounds like a sham.I would never recommend this to anyone.

    Ending the Timeshare Nightmare

    How i cancelled my unwanted timeshare I would highly recommend Mexican Timeshare Solutions to anyone trying to get rid of an unwanted timeshare. My hurband and I bought a timeshare many years ago in Puerto Vallarta and we enjoyed using it for about 8 years or so. Our annual dues kept increasing to the point where not only was it unaffordable but absolutely absurd. Mexican Timeshare Solutions took care of me from beginning to end. They demanded no money up front and they were able to break our contract with our timeshare. My husband and I are extremely happy to be free from the financial burdens and grips of an unwanted timeshare.

    Relief from the Timeshare Nightmare

    My timeshare scam experience I came across Mexican Timeshare Solutions on the web and read the testimonials. I will be honest in that I was very skeptical of this company and in the process. I researched this company numerous times and even confirmed that they had good ratings with the Better Business Bureau. I took a chance and contracted them with the guarantee of no payment until my membership was canceled. Three months later, my membership was cancelled legally and I am now free of this timeshare scam. I was so frustrated that I would be stuck with this membership for 40 years but thanks to Mexican Timeshare Solutions, they came to the rescue.

    Unpleasant Experience with Sean

    Dealing with Sean has been an utter nightmare. Sean made several empty promises and used scare tactics to make my parents pay him upfront for all the work he was ‘going to do’ and made it seem like an urgent time sensitive case. Once he was paid, it became an issue of him either being too busy to file documents in a timely manner or forgetting he had an appointment which HE had set for me to sign things, only to find out once I got there, he wasn’t prepared and wasn’t even aware we had an appointment.I wouldn’t wish Sean on my worst enemy. I wish my parents had never gone to him for his ‘help’. As others have mentioned, once Sean gets paid, he is on to the next customer and forgets your name. When you chase him down to complete the work, he becomes aggressive and loud on the phone.Beware as I’m not the only person who has the same story.Edit: August 10 2022 approx. 1:14pmSean did not like my honest review of my experience with him and instead of agreeing to disagree, he threatened to sue me.

    Incompetent Service

    This is the worse company to book a trip with. I travel international often and have never dealt with a company as unprofessional as this one. I’ve used two other companies before and they actually know what they are doing, unlike STS Travel. Besides the fact that our agent NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE, she disappeared for a few days and I had to speak to anyone else in the “office”. I get it, life happens but they were clueless of anything about the trip. Mimi’s phone doesn’t even ring!! You call and it goes straight to voicemail EVERY SINGLE TIME and you have to wait for her to call back and hope you don’t have to play phone tag. My documents with my flight and hotel stay weren’t even completed. It had no reservation code for my return flight so I couldn’t log in online or receive any information over the phone regarding my flight. I could have provided a better service to myself and our group over this raggedy service. People want their vacations to be smooth and this one, by far, was NOT. I highly recommend you use someone else because I paid so much more money than I had to because they sucked. Also, I checked out early and asked the resort for my refund and they said your travel agent would have to arrange it because I didn’t book directly through the resort. Guess what my agent said, that h we can’t give you a refund. Ask the girls that stayed in the room to refund you. Hahaha USELESS company. Don’t wait your money guys. Please don’t.

    Customer Service Failure

    This company is horrible, book a vacation at your own risk. My experience has been a nightmare. When I arrived at the airport in Cancun about 1 week ago, I traveled with another friend and our names were not on the list to be picked up. The representative at the airport said he is not using up his data to call the office. We were at the airport for close to one hour and was given the run around. My friend felt faint and was about to pass out, I told the guy who showed zero interest. He told us to take a taxi and we would have to pay out of pocket. After purchasing a small ginger ale for USD6, we finally got someone to take us. For our return trip, we made a reservation and our flight was delayed for about 2 1/2 hours. We tried calling their office to reschedule but they do not have 24 hours service. The time we were supposed to be picked up was way before the office opened. We were told that we would have to take a taxi and pay out of pocket. I would NOT recommend this company if you want a stress free vacation.if it was possible I would have given them a minus zero star .

    Parent's Perspective

    I write this review as a ‘mama bear’ to tell parents of college Spring Breakers what we experienced using STS. A lot of parents leave their college age spring breaker to make the reservations with a lot of assumptions and lack of knowledge about the trip they just booked. I think parents need to guide their young adult to minimize assumptions and confusion about what they are paying for and what they are actually getting.I talked to STS twice after I read the travel arrangements made by my child’s large group of spring breakers headed to Cancun. I found out exactly what was included, what were the procedures, how to pre- order the shuttles, what to expect for dining, what to expect with off premise excursions, and other things a mother would want to understand. For example, STS has a booth in the lobby of the Grand Oasis hotel and a representative is there on site for the kids during the whole time there are there. STS, you really should advertise this as both parents and kids would feel relieved knowing that there is someone on site if they are any problems. STS planned and organized a few off resort activities that were well organized and very much enjoyed. They have a good procedure in place for the kids to reenter the States with their Covid tests and travel docs and shuttle times all done 24 hours bf their flight at the hotel. The STS representatives I spoke to on the phone calls had good answer so there were no surprises on vacation week. STS cannot be responsible for the quality of the food at every buffet at every hour, or things of that nature, but I believe my kid was in good hands with good procedure in place for a week in Cancun.

    Regrettable Experience

    SCAM. Please do not waste your money going through this agency. We were given many false promises, and we did not receive refunds when we did not get the services we purchased. I greatly, GREATLY regret going through STS.To specify:We purchased a $100 ticket for a booze cruise, which was scheduled for a Monday. It kept getting pushed back each day with a different excuse from Charlie each time. Finally, on Thursday, Charlie claimed that the company cancelled due to wind, yet there were many other booze cruises that took place on that same day. For those people who specifically paid for the booze cruise, we were not offered a refund. There were many rumors that the cruise was never booked, and Charlie was just coming up with excuses to avoid confrontation.It seemed that there kept being a need for more and more unnecessary purchases, and that was pushed onto the students by STS. We did not know what we were getting into nor how much money we would end up spending for nothing.In general, there was a huge lack of communication that left students lost and confused. A group of our friends were mistakenly driven to Atlantis rather than Breezes, and the two are substantially far from each other. The taxi driver took the students off the main road and stopped at an ATM along the way. You can imagine how scary this would be for a student visiting a country that they have never been to before.It was almost an intimidating atmosphere, threatening us that if we lost our little plastic wristbands that it would be a $200 charge to replace, that if we caused the slightest damage to the room it would be a $150 charge per roommate.There is more I could say, but it is too much to type. I hope you can see that going through STS was a TERRIBLE decision.
